Haynie 24 HO Motor
I am looking at ordering a new Haynie tomorrow. What is the board’s general thoughts on this boat and the following engine options:
Yam - 300 offshore 4 stroke Merc - 250 Optimax Merc / Verado - 275 4 stroke Merc / Verado - 300 4 stroke Yam - 250 SHO 4 stroke (this one has a 20 inch shaft and most folks say to stay away from it with a Haynie) Speed, dry ride and a reliable motor are important to me.
