Got a pair, luvem and have not been In my neoprenes all duck season. Paired up with Simms boots and you can really move in the water. If you buy the academy canvas shoe go two sizes larger, only went one with Simms. I would not spend the extra $$ on mag 3, just MO.

thanks for the info, which pair of simms do you have? I was looking at the simms website and they offer several options. is it the flat boots or flat sneakers that you wear?

Buy the real boots not reef, more support for ankles in mud and more durable on reefs. I believe mine are the black water 99$ @basspro.
Can't see spending mad $$'s for Simms waders. |

I have a pair wore them once to duck hunt, I think they are XXL, probably won't ever use them again, if you want them I can make you a deal.

the more expensive the waders the more you will be disappointed...just my opinion

Difference in price is the made in America and lifetime repair feature. Still hard to justify those $$$$ for something you don't use every day.

Here are a few tips to save you some pain. I'm in the water 8 hours a day 14 days a month. I have high dollar breathable waders but only were them if the water temp is above 70 degrees. During the winter I wear neoprene waders from academy and neoprene boots from academy. Breathable waders will not keep you warm in cold water no matter what you were under them. 3.5mm Neoprene waders I can fish all day in 50 degree water with a pair of sweat pants on under them.
