Dude said they were released....didn't say nothin' about 'em swimming away. If he could be that far off on the weight......he could be confused about releasin' 'em.

Chances of a large trout surviving on a stringer are minimal.
Reds yea, but trout I doubt it.

I saw that and thought the same thing!! Then the dude said he released both fish...if thats true why in the heck would you bother stringing them up for a pic??????? Heres a big one a friend of a friend caught on March 2nd in Baffin!

Says it was 12.5 lbs and 32 1/2 inches long. BIG TROUT for sure!!

I'm thinking that gravity must pull harder in Texas.....That's the only explanation for all these fish weights

I lived in Corpus for a few years and fished Baffin, we would boat in and wade fish, it was easier to cover ground and not hit the boulders with the boat. Could explain the stringer but those fish may be 6 to 7 lbs and look dead to me.

Let me weigh in on this. HA !! HA !! Some of you inexperienced and younger trout fisherman won't know what a trophy trout should weigh. Especially Salty. Anyone that thinks the OK Sooners is better than LSU can't judge a trout size or weight. Just kidding guys !!!
Nothing better to do than stir that pot.

Any reports in B. L.
