Battery Charging Question

I have a 24 V troll motor. My question is related to how best to charge the batteries. I could buy an on board charger that I hook up "permanently" to the batteries and just plug it in. But, I already have 2 small 12 v chargers. Question is: Can I hook the 2 small chargers to seperate batteries at the same time and charge them that way or do I have to disconnect them from series to properly charge them?

Any other suggestions are welcomed.

Good question......you can't jump a 24 system with a 12 cause they are run inline.......I wouldn't think they'd charge that way either......prob need to unhooking the batteries to do it that way

just charge it normal, one at a time or like you want with 2 seperate chargers. as long as you do not cross from 1 battery to the other the charger will only see 12v. you do not need to disconnect anything as long as you dont cross batteries.

X 2.... I did this for 3 or 4 months until I got a new bank charger. Never had a problem and never disconnected anything from the batteries.

Guess its like charging a 12v on the 6v setting? Just takes longer?
