Default Calcasieu Point

I herd you can't stay parked over night at Calcasieu Point any more...If so, can someone tell me what is the earliest you can launch?

There is no gate. I have launched long before it opened several times.
I have never seen any sign stating that either, but I didn't look too hard either.
Next time I go there, I will look.

I believe they are talking about the sign on the dock advising "No Overnight Mooring" which means you can't leave your boat in the water over night. Don't know why you could not fish anytime since I have launched at Prien and N launch at all hours without a problem.

I have seen that sign from the boat at the end of the big dock. Never seen anything else from the land side.
It is close to the locks and a lot of traveling boats would probably find that a nice place to tie up overnight along the ICW.
