Default Where to buy...

I'm going crabbing Saturday and will probally need more than the 5 dozen limit I hope to catch. Leaving Hebert's I can head north or east. Can someone point me in the direction of where I can buy some BIG crabs on my way home.

If I pull this one behind my boat think it would count? W can ride in it since he's used to seeing only my backside when I'm at the wheel. http://www.walmart.com/ip/Coleman-Se...-Boat/10928134

When you are done crabbing you can always shoot across the lake and buy some from Davis Seafood right on the ship channel, just south of Kelso Bayou. Call first though to make sure they have some.

JT's Seafood on Lake street [about a 1/2 mile north of I-210 on the west side of the steet] should have them.

Bring you a cast net and catch some shrimp. They are a little small [mostly 40-50 count] but you can catch a limit. I had some boiled shrimp and a few crabs for supper tonight.

I know a guy who brings out an icechest with a 5 doz limit, places it on the bank, then goes back in for another limit. Don't know if it is illegal or not.

If you are outside of the refuge you can catch more than 5 dozen.

Here is what the LDWF pamphlet has:
"The daily and possession limit is 12 dozen per
person, daily and in possession."
