Day 2 with Lonnie barr and crew. Headed out in calmer conditions today looking for trout. One stop where we left them yesterday and both boats were steadily bringing in fish. No fast and furious action and no limits but steady action and good times. Everything caught on carolina rigged minnows. We moved around a little bit when the bite shut down not finding anymore fish. Saw a few other boats in the area catching also. Tough conditions with the wind as you have to find protected areas with clean water to find the fish. Big thanks to Lonnie Barr with Inolect for putting the trip together, Shawn for the awesome food, Capt Travis Miller for running the second boat and to my crew for great company (lots of cutting up as these guys were a fun bunch to fish with).
Big thanks to Terry with Catchdat.com. Finally got to put the new U.S Reel to the test today and man did I like it. Casting into the wind all day with not one bird nest was nice. Smooth and far cast everytime, even with the braid that I have never used before. Im impressed so far Terry, thanks again.
