Default Rockefella

Made a last minute decision yesterday to get out of the house, no fishing for us for the last four weeks, we headed to Joseph's Harbor, got to the weir at 11:30, threw the cast net for about an hour, caught 15# nice shrimp, then off to fishing. Ended up in Bertrand Canal where we caught 1 speck, 2 reds, 3 flounder, and several very large croakers. End the day with having to be towed in......Damn Engine!!!! It popped off when we were ready to leave, then nothing wouldn't even pop! Went outside this morning to clean the shrimp and fish and just for S***ts and grins, tried the motor again..... GUESS WHAT, started first turn of the key, guess I'm gonna bring in to the shop and have a carb job done on it, don't know what else it could be. Any way we had a good overall day, just bad ending.

been having the same problem with my motor, so I haven't been fishing too far from the landing just in case I think the float in the carb gets stuck open and lets too much gas in and floods engine. but it starts 1st pull every a.m. for the first two pulls then craps out after that! you should post a pic of your catch extra $5 sc cash!

I think you're right about the float getting stuck, the engine runs way too good other wise. I've noticed the couple of times that it has done that I can always smell strong odor of gas. I gonna bring it to the shop and have all three carburetors reworked.
