Default First top water catch.

Hopped in the boat with longcast
and mcjaredsandwitch yesterday. It was slow but I caught my first trout on topwater. The sound was awesome when this huge trout hit the super spook. Lol

Wait till the toilet flushes and your bait is nowhere to be found. Big red fish will
hit them spooks too.

Congrats...I remember my first topwater trout too. It was the second time I fished Big Lake, three years ago. We were following my podnahs dad and his friend and they stopped to cast net for bait and I decided instead of just sitting there I would throw this black/chartruese she dog that i just bought. Second cast a nice trout took it and swam off. I was so excited and nervous that i couldnt wait for the net. Tried to flip it in the boat and what do you know, dang thing shook itself off. Its ok tho cuz the next 5-6 cast netted 3 more nice trout on topwater...Not only was it my first trout on top, it was my first fish on top and only my 6th or 7th real fishing trip ever....Since then I have spent alot of money and time on my new obsession..Fishing
