Default Louisiana Saltwater Series Tournament 6/18 Delacroix

Well all the time Lucas (mednotsoheavy) spent scouting for this tournament paid off! We started the day off heading to our "A" spot which was not fishable due to the low tide. We knew the fish were in the area and should be holding in the deeper canals. We made our way down a small canal and immediately started picking up fish. The farther we went back the bigger they got! We had our two weigh fish in the livewell and was culling at 730. We fished that canal and had a solid 15.5 lbs. One of our fish wasnt doing too good in the livewell, we babied him for a while but he just wasnt going to make it. We made a few moves hoping to cull the dead fish, but it wasnt meant to be. We would have to take the 1/2lb deduction. Made it to weigh in with 15.59lbs minus the 1/2lb deduction for the dead fish. We ended up in 6th place out of 44 boats. That fish cost us 3rd place. It was a bittersweet ending, but we still brought home a $500 check. We had a great time!

All that teaching I did for ya'll not put to good use? Shame on you. I guess I need to go back over there and give another lesson. Maybe ya'll just need another class!
