Default Big Lake 6-24-6-25

Fished the last 2 days in the FISHING FOR MEMORIES TOURNAMENT, spent as much time running from rain as i did fishing. Only decent water was around the channel, seems to be the norm lately. Ended the 2 day trip with 31 specks 9 reds and 7 flounder. Specks and Reds were all on live shrimp under the popper. Flounder were caught on pearl gulp shrimp. Biggest speck was around 3lb. Couldn't buy a bite on a plastic. A couple buddies of mine spent there 2 days around Turners and did good on reds and caught a few GOOD flounders. It would be nice if the wind would ever stop blowing, but its gonna take more beer to keep cool.

Also, the traffic on the water during the weekend is CRAZY. When the lake clears it will probably be ten times worse. Seems like people spend more time burning fuel than fishing. (HURRY UP WINTER TIME FISHING)....................................
