Assume you are talking about fishing them at night, if so, the old river on the other end from Haymark used to be good and also the SE corner of 4 corners

Definatley at night. He watched that show monster quest , when they showed those big gar. So I'm gonna hook him up.

man, that is one of my dreams, to catch or shoot a big gar and mount the head with his mouth open. I think that is badazzzz

I snagged a 5 foot gar right in the jaw with a jiggin plastic in pecan island,got it in the boat too. Im sure that will never happen again. I have seen people fish for them at night with the biggest mullet you catch in a net. Saw some 6-7 footers caught at cypremort point in the cove before at night.

I have seen some giants on the east side sight fishing for reds. Some in excess of 6 foot. Have thought about casting at them with the fly rod and then I remember I like my fly rods.

Big Mullet for bait. Seen people juglining them in the pits along La. 1 toward G.I.

you can just take him to the Garfish Rodeo at Blind River Bar this weekend............usually some good things to see.............garfish included
