Default Droid X2

Just picked up a DROID from Verizon yesterday. Tired of my At&t iphone. Keeping the iphone for now and taking Verizon on a test drive. So far I think they are pretty sweet. Im worried about the reception at my deer camp in st francisville and my duck lease in PI. After I try these areas, think im gonna drop iphone for good. What cool apps are there for these droids? And anyone used Verizon in these areas lately?

Rainy Days is a good weather app.
It only shows a map. Nothing else.
But it is quick to pull up the maps.

Yeh that's what I am worried about. With AT&T, I have full reception in the woods as well as the duck blind. But the dropped calls are getting out of hand.

Boat US app. is another good one.
You can input a phone number you call in case of an emergency.
If you click on the app. and click the emergency button, it will send the Lat. and Long. of where you are to that emergency phone.
It's pretty cool too.

GPSessentials is pretty cool. Lets you record a drift, mark weigh points, and has a camera that shows the horizon level and a point you have marked so youll know youre headed to the spot. Worth taking a look at. Last time I used it, i had 12 satellites on the south end of big lake.

Good deal, they are great phones. I never heard you got it worked out. I thought you were going to switch over to the dark side. Did you figure out your laptop problem? If not, bring it by tomorrow or this weekend.
