Just a theory but could this marsh be burning and smelling so bad because of some oil in the soil???
Just a thought I've smelled many marsh fires and they don't smell like this...

This is a natural process, makes the marsh healthy and lush

The bad smell is from global warming and the hole in the ozone! Remember when that big hole was in the ozone? Wouldn't CO2 be able to escape out that hole, therefor not warming the planet? Deep thoughts by Jac..

I just like thinking out of the box...
I have been around the Boston when it was on fire and I didnt care for the smell but that was when the ozone was intact of course when Al Gore invented the internet I lost interest !
Now I live under a bridge and wait for a bolt of lightning to take me to the mother ship! That ship must be stuck in customs????

P/S the socialistic party will prevail in 2012!
