Could be several things. Fuel pump, clogged carbs, fuel lines breaking down, crack in the fuel tank pickup,or the primer bulb itself. How old is your fuel lines and primer bulb going from the tank to the motor?

Change it and see if it gets any better. I have seen something that simple fix a problem like that several times. Stick with a OEM bulb,DO NOT use a aftermarket, they are junk.

yeah, I paid $15 for a quiksilver bulb, which was easier to find then a johnson bulb, but has lasted longer then the seasense crap or attwood, once I bought it and changed my line it was the last of fuel line problems I had.

Redmonds marine,The Prop Shop,Gulf Coast Boats. It is a mercury bulb. Does not matter if you have a evinrude it will work fine. Evinrude makes and good bulb and so does yamaha. Quicksilver is usually the cheapest.

The boat has a aluminum 30 gallon tank. With a pvc cap as the top. It just screws on there. When I bought it, It didn't have a hole so I drilled a small very small hole in the cap. Never had a problem until now with motor cutting out.
