Water was ok, for the bay. Considering how much wind we've been having.

I'm new to inshore fishing and have been putting in at cypremore point and crossing the bay and hittin the reefs out past long point and the mouth of the gulf. Anyone want to help me out with some other spots to try. Also, any place I need to stay away from?

Do like everyone else, look for the boats. The area that holds trout is south of hammock bayou in the open water.

I would avoid places like the cove, hammock, and trashpile around this time of year. Nothing but trash fish.
