Default Rare SunFish

Just had a huge sunfish surface right before dark today. This is only the 2nd one I have seen in 11 years offshore.
Pics are not too good because it is pretty far from the platform ,but looks like at least 400lbs or maybe bigger

I heard they eat the oil from bp's spill. Lol i have no clue. I would like to know as well. Bet that was cool to see in person! 400lbs thats a tank

I've only seen 1 in my life. It was just relaxing on the surface as we were coming back into Venice. That is 1 strange looking fish!
