Default big lake flounder

Hey all, I am going to big lake sunday and am looking to target some flounder. I hear about some sand bar by the ferry, is that where that old launch in on the holly beach side? Any other tips for findin them?

I heard of Flounder Ridge in West Cove. Not sure where it is but I know the general area.

I am always looking for some flatties.

they have a little shell beach just south of the ferry a couple hundred yards on your right ,i have caught there...

Outgoing tide, edge of the channel usually works.

Yep, edges of the channel or reefs along the channel.
Other spot would be behind the weirs. Along the canal
or in the bayous, if water is moving.

I went behind the wiers one time by going through one (on the east side), is that the only way to get back there?
