Default Fishing in the fog 11/15/2011

Hit Lake Charles today. Dense fog. Launched and just used the trolling motor. I fished and caught on TTF Gundog Jr. for about an hour, then fished for nothing the next hour. My trolling motor batteries are in good shape. They lasted the whole time. Caught 6 nice Trout and 2 decent Reds. All on topwater. When the bite died, it died.
I didn't know where else to go and didn't want to crank up and run in the fog.

Nice catch, a buddy of mine went yesterday afternoon and caught 15, took him 4 hours, said it was slow and only found them wanting to bite in one spot, he fished 5 spots total.

haha... was kinda funny cuz he talked about his batteries being great then said... "when the bite died, it died" sooo my first thought was "it" being the trolling motor. i was reading with spineyes.

Last few times I fished up North, the bite started right at daylight, for an hour to hour and a half, then stops. And I mean STOPS. Like someone turned a switch off.

Prien and Lake Charles area. First light, it is on up there...

Raymond. That is my back up knife. Lithium Ion cordless. Other one is the green and yellow one like I broked when I fished with you. Glad it broked, you had to clean all the fishes. LOL

have not tried in early am, fished the area last sat, 2 days after the las front. started at 10am on a strong outgoing tide and the bite was on till the tide was in slack mode, will fish this sat again and hoping for the same results, will post as soon as I find out.
