Default BL 12-10

Hit Big Lake this morning to see if I could catch a trout or two. Got on the water a little after 7 and headed to turners , where everyone else seemed to be also. Made a few long drifts and picked up my 15 trout by 10 . Once again I forgot my darn phone so no pics . I guess I m gonna have to get it permanently attached so I will quit forgetting it. All where caught on deadly dudley bay chovies and browns devil eyes on 1/4 oz yellow mouth jig heads.

Good stuff. It's good that they're still hanging around even with all the boats running over them.

Duck season starts back up, number of boats will fall off.
I don't like fishing weekends either. Found that out the hard way.

The only reason I made it out was because of the split in duck season .Otherwise I would have been busy guideing duck hunting . Actually it wasnt that bad this morning for the number of boats in the area ,didnt get potlicked at all.

Good job, it got really windy later.
What color Bay Chovie? I like those baits, they are tough.
