Default Patterson Smackdown

Bassassasin and I hit Patterson yesterday morning in my bass boat. Largemouth bite was slow in the AM but we managed to pick up a couple nice stripers near the bridge. the Bite finally heated up around 1pm with Largemouth Bass, Spotted bass, Sac-a-lait, white bass, and stripers hammering big balls of shad. The birds were working and the bite was on, first time to ever see birds working in fresh water. The fish schooled from 1pm till we left em at 3:30. Pearl white fluke (dead fall) did the trick on the largemouth.....cranks and swimbaits did the trick on the stripers. One of the most fun days I have had in freshwater in sometime. Stripers were between 4-7 lbs and bass were from 2-4 lbs

Great day fishing with friends
