just a question? don't the premium members and site sponsors pay enough that we don't have to see this low quality google crap? on my computer screen it takes up 20% of the web page and then the banner at top is just crap!

I am not a huge fan of it but the google adds, interstate advertising and bandwith are making it hard for the site to not be a negative investment and this helps pay for those things. All of the major sites have it, 2cool has far more than we do. The alternative is to not do any advertising so that all I have to pay for is bandwith the problem with that is we would not grow as a site. Our goal of being able to help more people and spread our culture/site around the state would not be reached if we stop growing. 4,500 members and growing, quickly. Another option would be if we were to get enough premium memers I could turn off the side adds which are the ones I dislike the most.

Short answer is NO!

That's why we are trying to get more members to go premium. The site is growing much faster then the premium membership by shear numbers and percentages

You are correct. To this day I have not taken one cent out of this site. I bought the site and then re-invested every sponsor and premium dollar back into the site or activities that the site sponsors. If we want to be just another website nobody has ever heard of then we do not need all of this. If we really want to make a difference and share our culture then this is part of the growth. Just to share real numbers with all of you, less than 2% of this site are premium members. If we had anything close to 10% I would kill almost all of the adds.

Can the ads be filtered by the site in any way? I keep getting Chinese and Muslim girl ads. I like Latinas!!!!

I guess it would be cool if the ads made a little more sense. Dating sites from 3rd world countries are a little strange.
