We was running a ditch in the marsh and an Osprey swooped down right in front of us and caught a marsh hen, the single coolest thing I've ever seen outdoors.

Are you sure it was an Osprey, they are fish eating birds!

They have some down the bayou teche from fausse point down to the bay and in the bay over towards cypremort i've seen a lot the last few years never with anything in their talons though

We was drinking, may have been some type of hawk, wasn't a bald eagle I know that.

Was right around Ellerslie (Bayou Sale). Been seeing a few down there just stumbled across the nest yesterday.

I think a peregrine falcon is about the same colors as an osprey and I see quite a few of them tear up the teal around our marsh.
