Cheers Lake Martin

Sup Boys and Girls.........

Well Made a trip Sat with a couple of buddies that dont fish much, they are just really starting to get into it. Since the weather was going to be tough and I could only do a morning trip we headed to Lake Martin. We fished Sinnerbaits and wacky sinkos all morning long and didnt do all that bad. ended with 14 bass and one BIG piqu....all in all not a bad day. The kicker is they keeped me away from home all day so that my wife could set up a late suprise bday party for me at my house......I get home to 20 people just waiting to give me a hug and drink some beer. I have the best wife and friends in the WHOLE world.

2 pics, my buddy Finch with one of his two bass and me with my prize Choupique.......anyone know a good taxidermist.....LOL

I knew it was a piqu cuz i sight casted to her, no crappie for me or anyone else we talked to, and yes Mike My lil bro hooked it up

1st course: smoked speckled trout on Toast tips
2nd course: some amazing tomato thing
3rd course: amazing shrimp bisque
main corse: Lamb chop over lintals with an apple viniger glaze
dessert: Ice Cream Sandwich

My little brother (21) personally cooked everything from scratch and slaved all day.

the key to cooking choupique is to do it fresh the day you catch it. de-bone the meet mix it half and half to ya taste with mash-potatoes. You can add a lil garlic and some onions and onion tops if you like, Q it up or deep fry'em.

I find they taste better than Gar more of a moist fish. They are also good if you fry them fresh. A very nice white meat and much easier to clean than Gar fish.
