Default pool....waiting for gunite to dry

I while back I posted about getting a pool.....well we decided to move forward with it. Man these construction a holes make a freaking mess. I told the dude we getting the pool from that my yard better be back to normal once the job is done....

One pic is of how it will look (minus the mountains in the back ground)....other is a pic of the phase it is in as of today. They did the gunite on Thursday...you have to wait at least 28 days. They should come next week to do the bricking, concrete and fence....

salt....it seems that is what everyone is doing now....the pool guy said it was a little more but it will pay for itself in a few years plus a lot easier to maintain.

FT we went with Brian Keith Pools. He is in Gonzales. He did 2-3 in my neighborhood. I got a few prices and he was the best bang for the buck. I could do without the hot tub but my wife wanted it. To me those freaking things are way over priced. However, like a good husband I gave in.

Just replaced my liner and added a salt chlorinator. Water is awesome so far. Once you understand how to use the dang chlorinator, it's a breeze. I think with the hot tub however, you'll need to chlorinate more due to water temp. Enjoy the new pool.
