Default Grand Isle report......

Well, this weekend was the perfect weekend weather wise to be on the island.....fishing on theit other hand was horrible!!!!

We have discarded the "buy a camper" idea as my wife decided she wants a campon on the water, so off to Grand Isle we went.

We did some house shopping Saturday then hit the water. Couldn't BUY a fish!!!!! With the water as calm as it was, we git the gulf. Only thing we could find was sheep head, so we caught and released a tonI've and kept 3 for supper. Went back to the rental and decided I REALLY REALLY REALLY didn't want to clean them. The neighbOrs had a bunch if kids who had been fishing all day, but not catching anything, so when they weren't looking, I hooked a fish on each of their poles and threw it out. Their dad said they were getting bites, so the kids reeled them in!! Made their weekend for sure!!! Today was much if the same, with a few drum and bull reds....... found a few camps to make offers on, so wasn't a bust.......I'm exhausted! Good night!!
