Went with a friend of mine today in new water that I have never been to before. We launched at the Grand Chenier Park and the water was very horrible looking as other say looked like chocolate milk and that would be times 10. Traveled to a place called Little Pecan Bayou and found the clean water and it was on red fish after red fish and they were all real good sizes to my standards. They were all between 24 and 26 inches which is good for the red fish on the half shell. Caught a limit quick and then we were catching for fun and when we left they were still biting. The water was clear in the area we were in and the temp was in the range of 72 to 75 degrees. I will say the water in that area and the surrounding look good. Got a good picture of a school of red fish swimming. All in all it was a good day and any day I can go out and get on some reds is a good day for me. As usual the outfitting was done by The Tackle Box and the bait of choice today was the Waker and Gulp Skimp
