re burn it as a format your cd player will recognize.......you need a program to burn with not just placing the files as they are on the disk it has to be converted. maybe one of these computer geniuses can paste you a link to a free burner program.....

For burning try Nero or LGPowertools. Ive used both to burn CDs. You have to be sure to select Audio MP3 rather than just plain Audio CD. Google search for free Audio CD burner, or try download.com.
To get a CD to play on (almost) any stereo, you need to convert your MP3s to WAV format. Again, google search for a free converter or download.com.
A free program called Any Video Converter (AVC) will grab a Youtube video and convert it to MP3 or WAV. Can use it to save videos as well.

Most of your older CD players will only read .WAV files. Reburn the CD converting them from mp3 to wav.
If your CD player will read mp3 files, then you burned the disc as a data disc, not a mp3 playable.
