tiller handle is $4795 plus tax w/ aluminum prop. s/s prop around $300 more. don't know the price of a remote one. spoke with Gerald Link about them last week

16/48 weldbuilt with a 14p yamaha prop it'll run right at 40

Backwoods landing has the tiller for $4550 w/prop, but you have to drive to Alabama to get it. The 50hp tiller is $200 more. That is the cheapest I have seen them.

If you buy it from lake area they pull the restrictor unless you tell them otherwise.

Has anyone removed restrictor plate themselves. I looked at mine and dont want to damage screen. If you have done this . What is the best gentle way to do this. thx

I did it on the one I had. Don't remember how exactly. Just remember being careful. It's no big deal if you don't put it back in. I don't think lake area marine even tries to save the screen.
