Holy crap!!!! And to think here we are with nice big belts and big reels on nice rods to catch a few tuna and pull them in the boat with a gaff then we see these guys slinging tuna straight into the boat on a cane pole! lol

Pretty cool , I've seen this before , I believe there is still commercial guys that fish like this. I think it as on the show "tuna wranglers"

Tuna wranglers catch them small and make a pen around the school. Then they tow the pen closer to land where they can tend to the fish better, once the fish are of legal size then they harvest them.
