My neighbor and a buddy torched 'em at the islands in Black Bay yesterday afternoon. I crossed the Causeway at about 4:00 pm yesterday and the lake was flat. I said I bet they bustin' 'em.

It was blowin' like crazy here yesterday, but, not further south. Tomorrow might be different, tho.

Problem with Black Bay is it muddies up so easily with a big tide and big wind.....especially if they're against each other. You can whack 'em out there in late April, tho. My three biggest trout were caught out there in late April-early May.

Got to BSM this morning beautiful... No wind partly cloudy. I see the islands and the rocks calling my name in my head. Launched the boat and my buddy went pay the launch. Then IT happened.... Damn temp alarm goes off so I shut it down. Wait a minute or two turn it back on and motor isn't pissin. Now I'm cause I just got the whole motor serviced last week and replaced all the normal wear n tear stuff to get ready for the summer. I called the shop and the guy was very apologetic so we will see on Monday what he does to make it right. At least now we won't be late to the wedding tonight I guess.
