Default Croaker Slam

Quick trip with the boys to pass the evening. Stayed close to camp due to engine trouble. Muddy water and not much action, but boys had a good time slinging CROAKER. Netted one flatty as a Bonus. And yes, I cleaned them (dem croaker fry up Nice!)

Eatin aint cheatin....... croaker are closely related to redfish, they are excellent table fare, especially the 12-14" ones.

Nice job. I'll be going fish around lauberge soon and probably won't catch anything but croaker. I'll have to keep them and try them out

Small ones eat whole and big ones cut up. They are good fried, grilled, or baked. Sitting next to that beer makes me think a beer batter would do the trick... Now im hungry.
