Dularge Trout Slam!

Just a shory recap of this past weeks action on the DU! We had 16 boats on the water with a total of 1184 trout along with some reds and flounder. The trout fishing continues to be strong with an average of 74 fish per boat last week. Most of the trout have been caught on plastic with LSU,Cajun Pepper and Chicken on a chain Bayou Chubs getting it done for us. Live minnows have done well too on some days when the bite was finicky. Early mornings up until 9 AM have been best as the fish eat up big time the first couple hours of the day. We have fished from Whiskey Pass westward to the SS 28 field with great success.
