hubcap you are around the best fishing in the world. the buras area is dangerous if u dont no where to run, i fish tere all the time. go to joshuas marina and head east southeast for about one mile. fish around the canes and marsh grass with a green split tail beetle tipped with shrimp and set a popping cork about a foot and a half above it,u will catch all the reds and flounder that u want. just run slow until u learn youir way around because all that open water is really shallow and the threat of hitting somethind exists. i will get u to the trout later, hope this starts u off and if i could get away i would be there tomorrow.

Thanks. BIG-c. I'm sure I will see you on the water at some point. I'll give it a spin out of Joshua's again. I went out of there the other day but it was more of a sight seeing trip. Love the area so far.

The west side of the river is no place to venture off to. U can lose a lower unit in a hurry. The east side of the river is a bit easier to learn. If u have a gps on ur boat I can come with u and get u a few trails to start and show u some stuff to stay away from. I am fishing all week have a couple days off next week. But I can always show u one evening. Give me a call and I can show a thing or two. 5043822370. If ur on the water I have an all grey Lake and Bay with a Yamaha. I normally fish out of Delta Marina
