Jchief and I hit the lake today in search of the elusive spotted sea trout. Had a little weather delay with lots of lightening around hackberry but finally got rolling around 7:30. Water was decent but not great and had very little tide movement. Action wasnt fast and furious but it was a good day none the less. Had a ton of blow ups on topwater, a lot of drive by's behind the bait, sometimes 5 or 6 a cast. most fish caught on topwater with a few caught on bubble yum jerk jrs and yellowmouth jigheads. Ended the day at noon with 18 so Jude could get home to grandpa duty.
