Waited for the storms to clear Friday night and motored out of Heberts about 5:15 PM, headed south to get outta the wind a bit. First cast with a Skitter Walk picked up a nice red, and it never stopped. We left them biting to get back to landing before dark. Even picked up a couple good trout in the process on the same bait. Back in the truck heading home by 8:30. When it's good, it's great! Told my fishing mentor Electric Chicken about our great night and he decided to join us when we went back Saturday evening. We didn't do nearly as well, I guess the fish needed more bad weather than we got Saturday to really turn on?! He did pick up a nice red and we caught a few trout, but not anything like the action on Friday.
