Default Cote Blanche and Ivanhoe canal

Took my little jon boat east of Cote Blanche island Saturday. Fishing dead shrimp on the bottom. Only caught 2 croakers on a shell pad that will produce reds later in the summer and in the fall.
Went to Ivanhoe canal and caught 2 more croakers then started catching bull sharks about 30 inches long. Only managed to get 4 to the boat to release. One more wrapped around anchor rope and twisted off and another went airborne and snapped the line. What a hoot on bass rods.
