I think it is bull crapp. Try and walk up to some cows at night. I bet they all turn their heads toward you long before you get to them.

Uhhh, I'm from Oklahoma. We grew up hearing about this crap. We discovered it wasn't much true about the same time we discovered alcohol. For the most part a cow will just stand and look at you like your an idiot. A few, well aimed, seem to have a sideways kick that rolls out at about 298mph(John Force take notes!)!!!
I never had one fall over but on at least one occasion, the whole herd went apeS ###(that's apeSNOT! not a real infraction!! *****!!!! the F stands for FISHIN'!) |

was told cows only sleep standing up when the ground is wet. therefore tonight would be a good time to try. soooooo if you have cows by your house would someone go try and video and share with us. please no sheep cuddling allowed in this video

Cows will lay down on wet ground. I grew up in Cameron. If they want to rest, they have to lay down. If they want to lay down, they will get wet sooner or later.
They don't care if they get dirty. |

I know for bass at least that works pretty good. I don't pass many cows on the way to my spec hole so I don't really know, but I'd assume the same. |

I cannot see the correlation between cows and fish. One is warm blooded mammal and the other is a cold blooded water breathing fish.
I have tried the feeding times on the almanac's also and to me, it is best to be there when the sun comes up. I catch more fish right at sunlight than I do wasting my time during late day fishing trips. I also catch them at tide changes better then the feeding times you see in the fishing publications. |

i have about 400 heard of cattle and the tipping part is absolutely not true at all... i've tried putting the sneak on them.... tried different times at night and even tried it in a truck and on a 4-wheeler... they just run... the only way you can tip a cow is with a .270 or higher.... and the fishing and hunting thing with the cows standing up and down it a hoax also .... not true... i can catch fish when their eating, standing, pooping, drinking water... it dont matter... its all B/S.
