Lake Charles 7-11-12
There is a video of me getting a "cajun sleigh ride" on what turned out to be the meanest trophy winning gafftop. I swear he ran like a red fish. Almost ripped the rod off my boat. Tried to fish a set of birds working in the lake only to have eight boats troll right through them. Moved on to another spot that produced the dink trout. All in all it was our first time in LC in the Yak. |

Yes. But think we will launch at i10 next time. It was difficult hauling yaks without cart

I got one of these carts last year and it rocks! $60 and worth every cent! Works great in sand too. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1342131239.207756.jpg

yeah i saw all those high-priced carts and i thought about making my own too, but for the time spent and cost of components, i figured the $60 was well spent on this cart. it's sturdy, holds my hobie outback very steady during portage and folds up for storage. the local academy didn't carry it, so i had to order it online and have it delivered. |
