Default Calcasieu lake

Headed to the lake for the first time next week with the family. Will be staying near spicers marina. If anyone can give me some fishing advice it would be greatly appreciated. Not familiar with this area at all.

while a guide is always best, there are plenty of reefs and spots that you can find online. you might not catch limits, but you should catch something, and there is always the option of lookin for the birds!
