Default inshore went offshore with the rich and famous

Last weekend we attending the wedding of J.D. and Jill. J.D. is a mate on by buddy's boat, Testing the Water. So we went Friday and stayed at my buddy's (Pat) condo. The wedding was Saturday...nice. Sunday we went fishing on Testing the Water, a 68' Viking.

We fished out of Orange Beach, AL. Saturday we caught 22 Red Snapper, 2 AJ's and 2 Kings. It was so much fun that I took off Monday and we went back out. 26 red snapper and 7 white snapper.

Fishing for snapper in a 68' sportfisherman is, well let me just say, OFF THE CHAIN!

I am not sure how much fuel we burned but you know what they say, if you have to ask.............

I have a few pictures to post but having trouble so I will try again later.

Mark

Default the ride

Pat's boat, Testing the Water, is amazing. 68' long, 4 state rooms, 4800 HP, 2500 gallon of fuel. All the bells and whistles plus some.

I'd be happy to make friends with a guy in the mower bidniss....What's better than owning a boat? A friend that owns the boat! That is one fine ride! I've begged for a 3'X3' peice of shade on some summer days, I wouldn't know how to act if I could open a door and go sit in air conditioning for a while....WOW....
