Left Lafayette Friday night at 10pm. Got to Hebert's at midnight. Was staying at a friend's camp and figured we would put the boat in and try for an hour or so. my friend had never been night fishing before and wanted to try. Took a while to find a pier with lights without someone fishing on it. Finally found one caught about 15 trout and 1 flounder from 1-2 am. Could have stayed all night and limited but wanted to throw some topwaters in the morning. Had guy in SC shirt (inchspinner?) with a few people fishing right next to me. So slept from 3-5am and went back out. Started off slow catching a few trout and tons of monster reds on topwater. My buddy has a Go Pro camera and he got alot of video of the big reds chasin our spooks. I'll post them when I get them. Finally the bite turned on for us around 11am and we boated 10-15 nice trout on topwater from 11am-12pm. Then a storm chased us back to Hebert's and my friend had to get back to Lafayette.
