nice! I was going to go there Saturday, but the weather man messed up big time and I ended up catching some bass instead of the ole slime bullets. Still fun

Fished same area 7th of July. Trout didn't want to have anything to do with mullet. They sure were mad at the croaker though.

Once again nice catch! How far south out of FWC do you have to go to start getting into trout water? I've only been offshore fishing out of there in a buddy's boat so I didn't really pay attention to how far we were out whenever we started seeing rigs.

We have always caught trout in state waters.(within 3 miles of the coast) It always depends on water clarity. We normally fish about 4-7 miles off of the coast. Just went Monday and didn't find any trout close in. There wasn't any bait at all until we moved to deeper water. We never bring live bait with us which was probably our downfall. This is a great time of the year to fish out of FWC.
