Default Big Lake Kayak Tournament 10-3-09

Just wanted to invite anyone interested. The Lafayette Kayak Club will be having a kayak tournament on Big Lake Oct 3. The grand prize is a kayak for the heaviest Cajun Slam. There will be over $2000 in prizes given away.

i wish i could i will be in georgia for the LSU game, i know some of the bc guys might make it.

for the other of you that will be on the water, please be mindful of your wake. it really sucks taking a wake over the bow in a yak, even worse when you get one on your side.

just remember slow down.

As of this morning we are up to 30 entries. We have over $2700 worth of donated prizes for the individual categories (15 places) and several door prizes including a $299 fly rod from OCR. As Raginrob said, the top SLAM winner receives an Ultimate kayak and 2nd-5th gets the cash from the entry fees. Still accepting entries...
