Default 27 or 31 series

In need new trolling motor batteries for the boat. I have always had 27 series and have plenty of room for 31 series batteries. Is anyone using the 31 series batteries and noticed the difference?

I guess you have to ask yourself if you run out of juice now with the 27's. If you never run out of juice while fishing then you can stick with the 27's. The 31's will only let you run for longer, since it will stay 24v no matter what.

I put the biggest that would fit in my battery tray.29's I think. I can fish all weekend and the batteries won't run down till the end of the 2nd day. It's not that much more $ or weight to go with the bigger ones IMO
