Default Grand Isle

Just seeing if anyone else was headed down to Grand Isle this weekend? My buddy and I are gonna try a little surf fishing...any sugestions where to start?...I have never done this before but I know he has...any help would be great

careful man, a lot of people here are going to big lake for the sc tourny, if you are going to grand isle, fish around the rocks off of the grand isle beach, try topwater and cacahoes if not that you should be able to catch with some live bait, wish i was going either place, too much things to do and not enough money to do them

Drive back up and fish at elmers isle and that way you can drive out on the beach .Look for clean(er) water and / or bait in the surf.
