I had a rough morning as well on Prien, throwing similar baits. Worked the marshy bend at the south end of Prien and Haymark area. Same places I picked up good fish yesterday, no bites. Did better at LDL beach area. Ended up with 7 specks with 2 people fishing. looked at the tide and it was stagnant most of morning.

Thats what I thought. I didnt fish the beach, I fished just a little past the marker, there were people right past the beach fishing those wood pilings. So I wanted to keep my distance

Last few trips I've taken to Prien have been full of ladyfish and gafftops, with a few specs and reds

this time of year is hit and miss in prein. starting next month after the first couple of cool front the lady fish disappear and the trout start to get thick. hopefully the salinity levels come up some more if they do it should be on until november
