Dularge Specks 8-8-12 Trip

I fished with Randy and Ben Breaux 8-8-12. We were hoping for a repeat of Tuesday, but it did not happen. The fish did not cooperate, so the hunt was on. Found pretty green water offshore and began picking away at some nice fish up to 2.5 pounds. Dead slow on the bottom is what the fish wanted. Double rigged Avocado Matrix Shads were the bait of choice. No other boats around us were seen hauling in fish except an occasional fish every 15 minutes. Good reports came from the East, the West was slow. We decided to try for reds, but only found one taker before the sky turned black and a big storm ran us into the dock. No limits but a good mess of fish for my crew to take home. Thanks to my crew, as it was a pleasure fishing with you guys.
