Default Johnson bayou this week?

First let me say I hope everyone to the east comes out of this OK.
But, looks like north winds for us here starting tomorrow. How much north wind is to much for fishing the beach? 10, 15, 20? I was hoping for light north winds, but with the storm shifting west, lokks to be a little stiffer.

Looking for a report or any feedback. Thinking about running down in the morning. Anyone seen the water today?

I get off Thursday for a week so I hope the storm don't screw things up and pulls some north wind so I can make a trip

Looks like the north wind are goon a be pretty stiff after tomorrow, then start rolling around Thurs /Fri. I'm seriously considering in the morning. Wish someone would report water conditions.

If the storm gets close enough, the north wind will not help. I have seen 3 foot wave crashing against a 20 mph north wind. Its cool watching the water blow back off the tops of the waves, but the beach can still be a mess. It just depends on the wave action comming off the storm.

I don't really have anything to do tomorrow. I'm gonna check the weather tonight and might head down to holly beach tomorrow if the storm doesn't come close enough.

Well, I'm trying to determine if it's worth taking a vacation day.

Some of the roughest water i have seen has been on strong north wind down there. Today may have been nice but next couple days be risky. 20+ mph winds predicted

Think I'm gonna try it in the morning. Winds have been north all day and not strong. Hourly forecast looks pretty good thru the morning.
