Who does home appraisals in Lafayette

Does anyone on here work for an appraisal company here in Lafayette. I'm about to refinance my home. Need to get it appraised but there is all the people you have to go through to get it appraised.

Most banks will take care of getting it appraised for you. Now, if you don't agree with the appraised value, talk with the bank and see if they would consider looking at another appraisal.

Appraisals are largely basied on the selling price of other similar homes in the same area.

Alpha, you do not want to order it yourself, because the bank/lender will not use it. You may consider calling me at AFI MORTGAGE in LC. Today rates were in low 3's for 30 yr.

I refinanced my house and lined up the appraiser both times with no issues.
